SUMMER JOB - SAT Tutoring in China
Looking for a job this summer? Inter Exchange Foundation (IEF) provides an opportunity to earn a $3,500, gain experience, and learn more about China!
IEF sponsors an SAT Tutoring program in Suzhou, China. This one month class will be around July 13 to August 18, 2010. The program provides round-trip air ticket from US to China, local transportation between Shanghai and Suzhou, room & board in Suzhou, local tours on the weekends, and a $3,500 scholarship.
Responsibilities — SAT tutoring for a class of 30 high school students with good proficiency in English, six hours a day and six days a week. The tutor will need to prepare teaching materials. Each student will teach one subject from the SATs: Math, English, or Writing. Please specify which one you would be able to teach. All classes will be conducted in English only.
Requirements — Current college student with a high score in their SATs; a solid background in the tutoring subject he or she chooses and, preferably, some tutoring experience. There is no Chinese language requirement.
